Turn findings into action.

GB-CMS is our practical compliance management framework: bringing important safety information together with clear responsibilities, review dates and evidence of completion.

From paperwork to progress

Know what's outstanding. Know who's responsible.

A finding is only the beginning. The real work is allocating an action, keeping it visible and confirming that the control has been implemented.

GB-CMS is designed around this principle. We help organisations structure inspections, action registers, controlled documentation, training evidence, incident follow-up and management reporting. The implementation is tailored to the business and the tools available.

Core management areas

One structured way to manage your information.

Our consultancy combines these management areas into an agreed framework, built around the way your team works.

01 / Assurance

Audits & corrective actions

Record observations, prioritise findings, assign owners and due dates, collect evidence and document verification before closing actions.

02 / Control

RAMS & document control

Maintain policies, procedures, RAMS and registers with revision, approval and review information. Link site requirements to the statutory and inspection evidence needed to support them.

03 / People

Training & competence

Organise competence records, identify first-aid and role-specific training gaps and keep refresher planning visible.

04 / Learning

Incidents & investigations

Record events, causes, learning and corrective actions. Use consistent categorisation to identify repeat issues and support management reviews.

05 / Insight

Management oversight

Bring open actions, inspection outcomes and incident trends into monthly management and board reports, including for multi-site operations and ISO preparation.

06 / Service

Supported implementation

Set up the management approach around actual operations, define owners and reporting cycles, and review whether the information supports effective control.

A sample process

From finding to verified close-out.

Record the observation

Example: damaged warehouse racking protection identified during a routine inspection.

Assign the response

Identify interim controls, a named owner, priority, target date and evidence required.

Verify completion

Check the repair evidence and confirm the implemented action before marking it closed.

The scenario is illustrative. It is not an actual client record.

Reporting and follow-through

From the workplace to verified action.

We can help configure a practical reporting and review process around your operation. Mobile reporting and the wider management workspace have different jobs; the functions included in your solution are agreed during scoping.

01 / CAPTURE

Report at the point of work

Scope a short reporting route for near misses, incidents and spills. Relevant details can include the event, supporting photos, location and the immediate response. Spill records can capture product, quantity, pathway, recovery and clean-up.

02 / REVIEW

Review and investigate

Bring reports into a review queue, check the information and progress appropriate cases through a defined investigation process. Keep the original report and supporting evidence connected to the case.

03 / COMPLETE

Assign, evidence and verify

Link actions to findings, assign a named owner and agree risk-based target dates. Record completion evidence and verification, then use the results in management reporting and learning.

Mobile reporting and a full mobile management interface are different requirements. We agree supported devices and workflows when scoping your solution.

Practical implementation

Start with priorities. Build from there.

A useful system begins with clear responsibilities and a process your team can follow.

  • Understand your sites, users and existing information
  • Agree the first workflows, responsibilities and reporting needs
  • Set up, guide the team and review how it works in practice
Plan a practical rollout

Fit the system to the work.

Discuss the problems you want to solve, see relevant example workflows and agree a manageable first stage. We can help define roles, organise information and review the approach with your team.

Your proposal will confirm the included functions, user access, hosting and support.
Common questions

GB-CMS FAQs.

Is GB-CMS a replacement for a competent person?

No. A management system helps organise evidence and actions but cannot replace competent technical advice, management responsibilities or effective operational controls.

Can it support multiple sites?

Multi-site reporting and action oversight form part of the GB-CMS management framework. Available software permissions, views and integrations would be confirmed during the demonstration.

Is there a mobile version?

A simplified mobile reporting workflow and a full mobile management interface are different requirements. We can discuss mobile reporting for near misses, incidents and spills, and confirm the supported functions, devices and permissions in your proposal.

How does it work with ISO standards?

Structured document control, internal audits, corrective actions, competence and management review can help support management systems aligned to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. Certification is always awarded by an independent certification body.

Can we try the software?
